Nicole and Keith are still thinking about offering for free the first photos of their daughter Sunday Rose after what they have reportedly rejected several multi-million dollar offers to publish the first pictures of their newborn.

A source said, “They don’t think it’s appropriate to make deals. They are still deciding how they feel about (it) - if and when they will release a photo at all. But they realize there is enormous interest from the public and they are grateful and appreciative of that.

“Nicole and Keith have been enjoying their first few days at home with their firstborn tot - Nicole is thinking about things like breast-feeding right now.”

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - A lawsuit filed on Friday against a Hollywood photo agency says two of its paparazzi supplied actor Heath Ledger with cocaine so they could secretly videotape him snorting the drug in a hotel room two years ago.

The suit says footage of the Ledger encounter, a portion of which aired briefly on two U.S. television shows days after his death in January — prompting an outcry in Hollywood — was sold to media outlets around the world, some in Britain and his native Australia.

The lawsuit claims the video has generated more than $1 million in revenues that should be forfeited under a California state law that requires paparazzi to disgorge any profits obtained through illegal activity.

Best known for his Oscar-nominated role as a conflicted gay cowboy in the 2005 movie “Brokeback Mountain,” Ledger died of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs in his New York apartment on January 22.

The suit accuses the Los Angeles-area Splash News & Picture Agency of paying for cocaine that was allegedly used in 2006 by two of its photographers to entice Ledger, widely reported to have struggled with substance abuse, into being surreptitiously filmed using drugs.

The incident occurred on January 29, 2006, at the Chateau Marmont hotel on Hollywood’s Sunset Strip, where Ledger was attending an “after-party” following his winning of the Screen Actors Guild Award for “Brokeback Mountain.”

“This is bad stuff. You don’t give drug addicts drugs so you can then tape them,” said Douglas Johnson, an attorney for the plaintiff, who is named in the suit only as Jane Doe, a former freelance reporter for People magazine.

The suit describes her as an unwitting accomplice of the two photographers, one of whom she was dating at the time.

‘A KIND OF WHISTLE-BLOWER’

A person answering the telephone at Splash on Friday declined to comment or take a message, saying only, “We can’t help you.

People magazine confirmed that the woman behind the suit was a freelancer for the magazine at the time but has not been associated with the publication since last year.

“We heard about an alleged encounter with Ledger, but there were too many questions surrounding the circumstances for us to write about it,” People spokeswoman Sandi Shurgin Werfel said.

The grainy video, which surfaced on numerous Web sites in recent months, does not show Ledger using drugs, but he can be heard admitting to smoking marijuana in the past.

Johnson called his client a “kind of whistle-blower” in the case.

“She does not seek publicity by the filing of this lawsuit … but she does want to expose the bad actions” of the picture service and its employees, he said.

The suit seeks damages for fraud and invasion of privacy, claiming the alleged scheme “damages her reputation by the inference that she somehow participated with paparazzi in the drugging and hidden taping of Mr. Ledger.”

The plaintiff claims that after meeting and befriending Ledger in the hotel lounge, her date and his colleague invited the actor back to her hotel room, where they gave him a package of cocaine, and all three men began snorting the drug. The suit says Ledger also had some cocaine of his own.

One of the two photographers later left the room, went onto the balcony, and unbeknownst to the actor began shooting video footage of everyone through the window, the suit says.

Ledger ultimately realized he was he was being taped and became angry, but was promised the video would be destroyed and was persuaded to stay for several hours more after he was brought more cocaine, according to the suit.

A spokeswoman for Ledger’s publicity firm declined comment on the litigation

AOL NEWS - Chris Daughtry’s band, Daughtry could be in a bit of hot water.

Daughtry’s new song, ‘Feels Like Tonight,’ sounds strikingly similary to an old song by The Asphalt called ‘Tonight,’ Idolator reports.

The song was co-written by “pop song technician” Dr. Luke, with Max Martin and Shep Solomon.

Dr. Luke is also the man behind Avril Lavigne’s ‘Girlfriend,’ which allegedly took it’s chorus from the Rubinoos’ song ‘I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend.’

The similarities between Lavigne’s song and the Rubinoos’ forced the Canadian singer to settle out of course, after the band sued her.

NEW YORK (Billboard) - Canadian rocker Bryan Adams’ latest album, “11,” will be released in the United States on May 13 exclusively via Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club stores, his publicist said Tuesday.

The set has been out internationally since last month on Universal, hitting No. 1 in Canada, No. 2 in Germany and No. 6 in the U.K.

His last studio outing, 2004’s “Room Service,” wasn’t released in the United States until the following year and sold just 44,000 units here, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Up until “Room Service,” Adams had spent his entire career at A&M Records, enjoying such hits as “Run to You” and “Summer of ‘69.”

Like “Room Service,” Adams recorded the new songs in hotel rooms and other locales while on the road. As the title indicates, it his 11th studio release.

Adams, who is currently touring South America, will play about 16 acoustic shows across the United States in May. He will return in July for nine double-bill shows with Foreigner, followed by seven opening slots for Rod Stewart.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - “American Idol” hosts a star-studded fund-raising special this week aimed at raising more than $100 million for children’s charities in the United States and Africa.

“Idol Gives Back,” which last year raised $76 million in the first mass fund-raising venture by a U.S reality TV show, airs a 2 1/2-hour special on Wednesday featuring performances and personal appeals from more than 50 of the biggest names in music, sports, television and politics.

“We’re going to make over $100 million this year. I can feel it,” “American Idol” executive producer Nigel Lythgoe told the audience at Hollywood’s Kodak Theatre, where the special was taped on Sunday.

Disney teen sensation Miley Cyrus, rap star Snoop Dogg, singer Mariah Carey and past “Idol” winner Carrie Underwood headlined a list of celebrities who performed on the show.

Democratic presidential candidates Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton and British Prime Minister Gordon Brown appealed by video to viewers to donate via telephone or the Internet.

Republican presidential hopeful John McCain is expected to send in a videotape for Wednesday’s broadcast, organizers said. His first submission did not meet technical standards.

English soccer star David Beckham, who now plays for the Los Angeles Galaxy Major League Soccer team, and Los Angeles Lakers basketball star Kobe Bryant were among athletes involved with the campaign.

Irish rock star Bono and singers Alicia Keys and Annie Lennox were among those who traveled to Africa and impoverished areas of the United States to record moving stories of children afflicted by AIDS, malaria and hunger.

Actor Brad Pitt was greeted with screams when he showed up in person to promote “Make It Right,” the Hurricane Katrina charity he launched in December.

Pitt’s charity is one of six that will receive the donations from viewers and “American Idol” corporate sponsors. The other five are the Children’s Defense Fund, The Global Fund, Malaria No More, the U.S. program of Save the Children and the Children’s Health Fund.

“I think it is really important that ‘American Idol’ has tried to connect this audience to the reality of the world outside,” Rajesh Anandan, a manager with The Global Fund told reporters.

“American Idol” started as a breezy summer talent show in 2002, but became a cultural phenomenon with almost 30 million viewers.

Mark Shriver, managing director of U.S. programs for Save the Children, said the show’s reach across all demographics gives it substantial influence.

“It makes a big difference to our ability to raise funds and impact public policy in Washington and other U.S. cities,” he said of the charity special.

The eight remaining contestants from this season of “Idol” performed during the special, but they were not judged for the competition.

They will compete in the show’s next round on Tuesday. On Thursday, the pop hopeful with the lowest number of votes cast by viewers will be sent home.

LONDON (Reuters) - Supermodel Naomi Campbell was released on bail pending investigation into a disturbance on a plane at Heathrow’s new Terminal 5, police sources said on Friday.

The 37-year-old model was escorted off a U.S.-bound flight on Thursday after police were called. She was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer, and later released to return on bail in late May.

“She was released on bail shortly after midnight, and is due to return on bail,” Scotland Yard said in a statement.

Campbell was on a British Airways flight due to depart for Los Angeles when the disturbance occurred.

Her spokeswoman said that one of two bags she had checked in had gone missing.

“BA decided to resolve this by insisting she leave the flight and then called the police to forcibly eject her from the flight,” the spokeswoman said.

“She was taken to the Heathrow Police Station and released on police bail. So far as we are aware, BA have still failed to offer any explanation as to why her bag went missing at Terminal 5.”

BA has been beset by problems with the high-tech check-in and baggage handling systems at the 4.3 billion pound terminal.

Hundreds of flights have been cancelled and tens of thousands of bags have gone missing, costing the airline about 16 million pounds since the terminal’s opening last month.

It is not the first time Campbell has been in trouble with the law.

She spent five days mopping floors as part of a community service sentence in New York last year after throwing a mobile phone at her housekeeper during a row over a pair of jeans.

She was also ordered to attend anger management classes.

Reuters reports - Anna Nicole’s son died of drug overdose, jury says

”Tabloid star Anna Nicole Smith’s son Daniel died of a drug overdose, an inquest jury in the Bahamas ruled on Monday.

The seven-member jury took 73 minutes to reach its unanimous verdict after coroner William Campbell had directed them to return one of three options.

He said they could decide 20-year-old Daniel Smith died of “non-dependent abuse of drugs,” or by “accident or misadventure,” or they could return an open verdict.

Daniel’s grandmother, Virgie Arthur, was unhappy with the outcome because the coroner had limited the options, precluding a finding of homicide, said her attorney, Neil McCabe.

Daniel died at Doctors Hospital in the Bahamian capital of Nassau on September 10, 2006, while visiting his mother and her newborn daughter, Dannielynn. He had flown into the Bahamas from the United States the night before.

Two autopsies concluded that he died from a “cocktail” of prescription drugs, including methadone.

Anna Nicole Smith died at age 39 of an accidental prescription drug overdose in Florida in February 2007 and is buried at Lakeview Cemetery in Nassau alongside her son.

At the time of her death, the former pin-up model and reality television star was embroiled in a long-running legal battle over the will of her late husband, billionaire oil tycoon Howard Marshall. They had married when she was 26 years old and he was 89

Smith’s death touched off a sensational court battle over the disposal of her remains and custody of Dannielynn. The infant was found to be the daughter of Smith’s former boyfriend, Larry Birkhead, and not her companion, Howard K. Stern.

A Los Angeles judge this month declared Dannielynn the sole heir to her mother’s estate, meaning the child could inherit a multimillion-dollar fortune if the dispute between Smith and her late husband’s family is settled in her favor. ”

Yesterday Chris Brown said to the AP that he and Rihanna are not a couple.

We’re not in a relationship or anything,” Brown told The Associated Press before Saturday’s slime-filled ceremony.

Also he said to MTV just last week :

I am a single guy. I have a close friend but it’s not like a relationship. I’m just living my life and having fun.

Now one day later since his AP interview, online surfaced some more photos of Chris Brown and Rihanna as they try their best not to be photographed together as they spend a Sunday afternoon at the Grove shopping center in Los Angeles.
When the celebs spotted the paparazzi they entered at the Apple store and exited the sorted minutes apart and then while waiting for a movie to start, Chris chilled on a bench (with his hoodie up) while Rihanna and her best friend headed off to get something to eat.
